Origins:
Katachi Mousepads reinvigorates traditional designs drawn from ancient Japanese patterns, applying these modern yet true-to-original takes on classic motifs to an essential desktop accessory – the mousepad. “Katachi” is a Japanese word that most commonly translates to “shape” in English, but also means “pattern” or “design,” which perfectly aligns with the original goal of our brand: to create minimalistic yet beautiful patterned mousepads that can complement any setup, without stealing the show.
Our Stance on AI:
We believe that generative AI can be very harmful to the art industry, and therefore AI-generated art has not and will not be used in any capacity for Katachi Mousepads. All of the designs are created solely by humans, and as the brand grows, we hope to provide more designs commissioned from real artists, allowing you to enjoy authentic artwork while supporting real people.

Notice:
Due to the inherent nature of printing on mousepads, it is possible that some designs may appear slightly skewed. This is unavoidable when printing patterns with elements that run parallel to the edges, such as “Seigaiha” or “Asanoha.”
Furthermore, the colours that appear on your screen may be slightly different to the product you receive, due to different screens having their own way of displaying the same colour.
Care Instructions:
Use warm water and dish soap to clean spots off your pad. It's not necessary to soak the whole pad. For hard-to-clean spots use a soft-bristled brush.
